If an arena is actively being built and the team is becoming more competitive it won’t matter that we’re in Mullett. This year at Mullett has been far more painful than last year because last year we all figured Tempe was gonna pass.

Mullett only becomes a problem when the uncertainty of what comes after is there.

Get the new project going and the Mullett situation will become a lot more bearable. The PA and the out of town media will still harp on it, obviously, but the pressure will go way down. It will all be water under the bridge the moment the new place opens anyway.

I don't think ANYONE will actually give a damn about going to Mullett another 3 years when a new rink is being built in one of the most PRIMO locations in the entire Valley.

Please god, get this done! I lived across the freeway from this location and had literal dreams of that location for the team.

What they'll need to do is, once they start construction, create a YouTube series tracking the progress of construction, showing the architect renderings in detail for the spaces, and then showing the construction as it happens. Play it during intermissions at the Mullett to show the fans how it's going and what they can look forward to.
