Swerve has to at least make the finals no? You've gotta capitalize on one of the hottest matches of the year and the rub from Hangman. Still would rather see him as AEW champion though.
 
Finally watched Full Gear. Really good show. The Ladder and Death Matches were fantastic.

The main event was good but I don't think you needed the injury angle. Kinda makes White look week.

I don't disagree, but when it comes to comparing Hogan and Jericho (which some people have done), I mean that at least Jericho means well while Hogan was beating Randy Orton in 2006.

Watching the G1 this past Summer really made me f***ing love round robin wrestling touraments. Danielson vs. all those guys should be awesome. White/Moxley might be my most anticipated match of the tournament.

Would of push rush over jay white needed a upset on 1st night of the tournament to make things wild ..

After the loss at full gear I don't think thatvwould be smart. But I don't like these first couple gold league matches. Lethal deserves some wins. Rush is awesome

not a big jay white fan personally so wouldnt bother me lol

meh 3 matches with 3 predictable wins.. even japan does upsets when they do the g1.. gonna be boring tournament if the favorite wins everymatch lol.

Yeah, but it's also rolling the Nooj strong openweight and ROH world championship into it.

Idk if they permanently stay merged, but for now they will be. It's a new championship for the AEW brand though. Not replacing or combining with the TNT or international belts.

Honestly they should have rolled the FTW belt into this too.

Hell even Okada ate loses in the G1 during his SuperCena title run. It's a huge part of these tournaments that guys you don't expect to lose, eat loses.

I think we will see upsets as well go. No way it's pure chalk
