This one felt overbooked to me and I'm rarely critical about things. MJF is good enough of a wrestler to get over a clean finish. This makes 2 PPV MJF main events in a row with lots of shenanigans. Jay White and the story deserved more.
I get the thought.... but at the same time MJF isn't going over as a straight face. He's still a quasi heel (scumbag) at heart. He managed to win with 90% less tricks than white. Not concerned with MJF at all. Am a little concerned with where White goes from here though.

Overall 0 complaints with the show, money well spent.

I agree the main event was overbooked.

MJF selling the injury really hurt the quality of the match. These two are great wrestlers, just let them go one on one without an injury gimmick.

You can still do the f***ery at the end with Adam Cole, the Gunns and diamond ring for the finish.

I wouldn't be surprised to see White go after OC for the International title eventually. Although I suspect that Takeshita might be the taking the title from OC. Depends how long his reign is.

I'm guessing he goes into the Continental Classic. And I'm biased because I'm a big Jay White fan, but I think him vs. Danielson should be the finals, or the very least a significant match in the tournament!

I didn't like the MJF knee angle because White deserved better. I'm okay with him losing but he looks weak to lose to a guy who can barely walk. Let them fight with the slight advantage of MJF having an earlier match. Maybe they could have began the Gunn's attack then have one or more members of The Acclaimed save him from the chair shot so Bullet Club tried something but were thwarted. I don't know, I just think after months of making White a star it was weak to lose to a gimpy MJF.

If the Bucks are taking time away is this the time they reinvent themselves or at least their look? Cut their hair so the one can embrace the bald spot. Maybe you could view it as a badge of honour for them that in some ways they aren't needed in AEW. At least the tag team division doesn't need them in the way they may have been needed in the company's infancy.

Cole was giving off devil vibes. Yes he was cheering Max and getting the crowd to clap but any time he intervened it worked against MJF. He distracted him during the tag match, he gave the title to Jay White, he set the ring down instead of throwing it towards MJF. He may not be the devil but they certainly teased that he could be the devil or at least turning on MJF.

I would end MJF's run next month and give it to Swerve. MJF is cold and the reign has long run its course. Swerve is hot get it on him.
