So now we choose to believe Dave and Bryan just this once...lmao

Yes it's plausible Tony knew, but once again everyone shits on Dave until his take sides with theirs...

Again... You think Tony didn't know about his highest paid performer not being medically cleared until 10 minutes before the show?

This is common sense. Dave and Bryan calling it out just adds to the credibility. The fact that Dave and Bryan are historically shills for AEW gives it even more credibility. Tony acting like a child on X since the ratings came out adds to it even more.

Eh, even tossing aside Bryan and Dave it’s something we see happen a lot on the other side. Tony was clearly obsessed with this rating given his conduct since that night, it’s not far-fetched to think he pulled a WWE with the false advertising trying to juice the rating more. WWE does shit like that all the time, especially when Vince is in charge of creative

If twitter was around for Herb Abrams it probably would’ve looked something like Tony’s account the other day lmao

I'm not questioning the validity...its just the "we hate their take, unless it sides with what we think" that's the part that I am laughing about and pointing the absurdity

Just because WWE has done it doesn't make it a less shitty thing to do.

With that said, no one really knows the truth to this. Maybe Tony's unhealthy obsession was some stupid ratings war led to a dumb move or something popped up with Mox. It's up in the air at this point.

Just the sheer manor of how he died, it might’ve liquefied the entire platform with all the memes people would make

If Nick Hausman suddenly reported or confirmed a negative news story about CM Punk, I'd probably consider it pretty credible knowing that he's building a reputation of being Punk's propaganda machine.

Not really that hard to understand. The move was so deliberate even Dave and Bryan can't ignore it.

Nepo boy gonna keep crying about his life being in danger, huh? What a sheltered dork. Same interview he called the death threats he gets from random crazies “great” fwiw- THESE TRIBALIST INTERNET WRESTLING FANS WITH ZERO OUTSIDE WORLD SOCIALIZATION SHOULD BE WAY SCARIER TO YOU BROTHER!

Great week for TK, looks totally normal and good and stable

You've gotta seriously wonder what the guy is gonna do if the company ever fails.

This kind of meltdown over just one night of ratings... I kinda don't buy the whole "WWE considers his Tweet a declaration of war". I dunno how you can look at his Tweets as anything but evidence that he's unstable and not capable of the role he's in.

Meltzer saying there are some issues brewing between Edge and Starks as a result of shots in their promo exchange.

Sigh.

For someone that said he wanted to come to AEW to help, maybe don't call a budding young star you're not even feuding with a vanilla midget because he said you had buggy eyes. Way to build up that young talent. The fact that, besides Roman, Edge won every feud in his WWE return and didn't really put anybody over (couldn't even have someone beat him on the way out) makes me think this is already sour and Edge is not gonna act in good faith.

Pretty sure in 25 years there have been zero complaints about Edge's character outside of the Matt Hardy/Lita issue.

First of all, don't shoot if you don't want to be shot on. Secondly, I honestly doubt, or at least sincerely hope Starks isn't this fragile. That was a 3 on a scale of 10 for "Zingers". He called you small. You are small. Who gives a f***? It's not 1985 and you talk well enough to get over.

Copeland was visibly annoyed by Starks going after him and insulted him as a result. He sounded completely out of character. I guess he really does not like being called "bug eyed"

Or he was completely in character of somebody who didn't like being insulted lol. If either of these guys had an issue with it, they both need to grow up. These were mild shots at best.

Either way, Edge didn't sound that much different than he has a million times in WWE, and Starks looked like he was trying not to break and laugh.

Im worried about AEW. Its just run really poorly. Im not a tony hater at all either (outside of obvious). The attendance and rating trends are disturbing. I really wish tony would clean things up, including his social media presence and hire some people to run creative full time for him. They have so many great talents and bring a lot to table for people that arent into the over produced and over sanitized WWE.

Its a bummer because I strongly believe there needs to be viable alternatives to WWE.

Nah, Copeland looked flustered a little bit. He was clearly not happy... and he sounded a little dumb.

No big deal to me though. Hopefully it has been addressed right away.

I'm starting to feel more and more like WWE throws a whopper at MJF. Might as well call time of death if they snag him.

Who are their draws?

Moxley is about to be 38. Could he go for awhile longer? Sure. But probably not effectively if he continues this style.
Omega is already breaking down and has essentially said he probably can't go through another long recovery.
Danielson has already said he's in his last year. Might be a part timer, but I absolutely believe him as somebody who will follow through with a promise to his kid.
Jericho is old as balls, even for the wrestling industry, and he looks it.
Edge and Christian are both about to turn 50.
Darby is good and young... But will absolutely not last long with the style he wrestles. Also debatable as to whether he's yet established himself as a "Draw" on his own.
Britt Baker is overexposed and kinda all by herself in terms of talented young women who can draw an audience. Which makes her not a draw herself.

The likes of Jay White, Adam Cole, etc. are guys who can participate in a program that pops a rating, but not really carry a program that pops a rating, IMO.

They botched Wardlow when he was hot. They botched Starks when he was hot. Who the f*** knows what happens with FTR given Cash's legal status. Jungle Boy is a wet fart. Sammy still has potential but isn't close to hitting it right now. Hobbs has potential and they seem to be back to pushing him, but he's still a ways off from being a draw.

At the end of the day, it still comes down to a problem of Tony just banking on slapping together random "Dream" matches and not really building characters. Hilariously enough, WWE sucked at doing that for two decades and now seems to really be hitting their stride.

I for one think that it's wonderful that not a single solitary thing was learned from the Hana Kimura cyberbullying tragedy.

Online trolls should all be round up, dropped off on a deserted island and it should be nuked until it glows.

Do people seriously think MJF is actually not signed to a new contract? People get to high and low with this stuff. The issues with ticket sales are over blown and AEW is going to get a new and bigger deal from WBD. Tony can be immature and seriously does need to lay off twitter a bit....but AEW is not in danger. That is taking it to a ridiculous place. But for real though his reaction to losing last week was probably more embarrasing then actually losing the rating lol it was one week.

So many people are concerned about tickets and ratings and all of this nonsense. Nobody works for AEW. That's their issue. I just care whether the show is good or not.
