I do have one minor complaint about AEW right now - I wish somebody in management would decide whether the BCC are heels or faces. One week they're attacking wrestlers with screwdrivers and then tonight they save a wrestler from a beatdown. Pick a freaking lane and stick with it.

Nah that's the appeal of BCC. They aren't heel or face. They're the BCC and will attack anyone they want. No one is safe and that's the beauty of it.

Max lost his shit when he pulled them out and he has confirmed that they are calling back to his story about being bullied for being Jewish by people dropping quarters.

Someone higher up should have told them we aren't running that angle this week

I have no doubt Max was aware and didn't have an issue with it.

Just probably not the best timing. Like... This is a wayyy more sensitive world than 20 years ago, and when WWE did this with Hasan it was taped BEFORE the London bombings, and they still put a content disclaimer on the show and then promptly wrote off and fired poor Hasan, who was only portraying the character they wanted him to play.

Come on man, just looks sad

I'm lost. What's he responding to?

Tony Khan was responding to someone's post of an AI pic of HBK holding a "booker of the year" award plaque.

I noticed it on Fenix’s introduction to the ring, he made one of his movements and his back was shot to shit.

I wonder why Mox wasn’t cleared but they were advertising him to be cleared. Just doesn’t make sense. Could have left it as the international title is on the line.

Never rush a concussion.

I'm loving that the Triple B is now the bang bang belt.

My hope is that Max Caster and the rest of the acclaimed join MJF in a fight against BCG, then get the scissor trios belt stolen by BCG.

Also, is it driving anyone else crazy that the devil mask segment isn't being referenced? That seems like too important a plot thread to leave dangling.

It's been referred to every promo

Very lightly. It's something that needs more exposure/investigation. More outrage over the incident.
Do you remember the NXT days of Gargano, Chiampa and Aleister Black? Someone jumped Black. it was a big investigation then Nikki Cross whispered who it was to Black and all hell broke loose. It was a really well done angle I thought.

Snowny Khan down bad (outside of the Vince jab, that was a clean shot)

It ain’t a big deal TK, you’re the show that was on a different night than usual. Losing to Cena and Taker should be expected.

About OC winning it back, it seems to be that Fenix is hurt. His back was already dying during his introduction.

I still stand by that Mox wasn’t going to lose the title and he called an audible.

Agree with that

I buy that.

Yeah they are definitely running on like plan C or D with the International title at this point. Mox was never supposed to lose it....and then was supposed to win it back tonight but didn't end up cleared....while the person who had to take the belt hurt his back. So it is definitely a little off but I am also not exactly sure what they could have done under that scenario lol shit happens sometimes.

While he does have the bad back, the change had to do with Rey Fenix’s visa expiring. So he had to drop the title because it’s not sorted out and doesn’t sound like it will happen quickly.

How is it that AEW has so many issues with Visas? Every other promotion/team seem to get these things handled before they become an issue, but not AEW. Do they not start the re-applying process until they realize it is about to expire?

It makes perfect sense...

... Tony Khan was going head to head with WWE and knowingly falsely advertised one of his biggest stars in a match because he wanted to win.

Wait, that's stretching it out a bit...
I’m not sure how visas work, but my guess it has something to do with establishing residency in the US. Becky Lynch just had a problem with a visa getting out of the US.
