If anything it shows the power of nepotism and being friends with the right people. AEW will be much better off when the Bucks split and TK hires real wrestling people instead of guys just trying to push their friends.

MJF is supposed to be the AEW promo king but I've enjoyed Swerve vs Page's segments a lot more than whatever they were going for in the Joe/MJF and White/MJF trash talk.

I prefer the TBS belt side of the women's division than the actual AEW womens belt.

Or when fans worked themselves so f***ing hard over the hall of fame talent line that people started expecting Brock Lesnar or John Cena and only had themselves to blame when Christian debuted and was a "disappointment". Nothing on screen has even been a hint towards Edge debuting.....I mean I think he is going to more then likely but if he doesn't nobody has been getting strung along here lol

Christian Cage - Darby for the TNT title is probably the most important title on the show. Edge showing is a possibility but it's very reasonable why this would be the main event otherwise.

It is certainly one of the better feuds on the card, maybe the best build, so I get it. It seems like the odds of Darby winning increase with it being the main event so that's the downer however he may still lose. Fingers crossed, lol.

If we know anything, it is that Tony lives for the cheap pop. Whenever someone from the city they are in, are in their home town, for a title, they always win. And then there are copious amounts of streamers and confetti in their colors ready to rain down like it was pre-planned or something.

Let me throw this out there - what if the attackers were from The Bullet Club setting up a Bullet Club vs Bullet Club feud ???? I have not read this anywhere and it's totally my prediction so feel free to crap on it when it ( more than likely ) doesn't pan out.

It makes sense. Could easily be Finlay and the War Dogs. He attacked White on his way out of NJPW and has claimed in promos that basically BCG is a cosplay. Even the angle with him and ELP leading to him being kicked out started with ELP's loyalty to White. They tried to do that before with The Elite vs. OGs Civil War but then The Elite left and started AEW.


I also think they're leading to Chase Owens being kicked out as well. Yujiro is in HoT which barely counts as BC and Fale is doing his own subfaction in Australia, so they might be phasing out the tenured/OGs and running with this new era of Finlay and dojo guys (plus Kenta and Ishimori).


In reality though I'm guessing it's Strong and The Kingdom.

The bucks consider themselves the founders of AEW. They are EVPs. People back stage ask for the bucks blessing before taking ideas to TK. (Reported prior to, and filmed on AEW’s reality show.)

They aren’t to blame for every bad thing in wrestling but with their status they have a lot of pull at AEW. To say they should share some blame when segments they and their buddies in tank is not wrong. To say they are unfairly pushed when 2/3 of fans on the internet can’t stand them is not wrong.

They have TK’s ear. Someone smarter at the business side would push the hot hand instead of the Hooks, jungle boys and Nick Waynes of wrestling. And yes, even Adam Page is in this group as talented as he is in the ring. These guys are charisma vacuums.

You are proving my point as to how Tony leans into. Tony learned a lesson for over hyping with Revolution 2021, and that is why they don't hype talent debuts like that anymore. Instead, he leans into it.

They leaned into it with Punk. They made hints but didn't mention him, but everybody knew he was coming.
They leaned into it with Danielson. They didn't make a single hint about him, but everybody knew he was coming.
They leaned into it with Cole. They didn't make a single hint about him, but everybody knew he was coming.
They are leaning into it with Edge.

That being said Christian/Darby is the strongest match to main event the show all things considered. Edge showing up and debuting during/post match is the icing.
