So if we go off the assumption Danielson is done soon....what is his last match? I feel like they have to run back Danielson Omega again at some point.
What is F4W?

I have a hard time seeing Bryan retiring without doing a run in Japan and a short stop back in WWE. He didn’t say retire in a year, he said start winding down his career. Of course it doesn’t help that he’s getting injured in like every match he does now.
I also don't see enough creative freedom for him in WWE. He said that was a big reason for leaving.
Dont see enough time for a WWE run
And with HHH in charge, there's higher chance of him being allowed to do that. Seems they're giving certain veteran talent permission to do that now, like Nakamura. He left because he wanted to work with guys outside of WWE like Omega and Okada and he wanted to bleed.
He has said multiple times how much he likes WWE and he considers it his home. If they were able to work a deal with New Japan that he could do dates with them he wouldn't have left WWE.
I don't think it will be a run. Like one or two matches in Mania season then HOF and full retirement.
The bulk of his final run will be AEW and New Japan, but I would be shocked if he doesn't wrestle at least one more WWE match before he goes into their HOF
I also could see him really wanting to wrestle WALTER or even Dragonov
I am pretty sure Bryan has said he doesn't think his body would hold up in a G1 anymore. I could see him having a WK match against Okada at some point but would be pretty surprised to see him actually do the G1.

I mean he is essentially being positioned as number 2 to TK in AEW. I am sure he would have a position for life in WWE if that’s what he wanted but it isn’t the same thingBryan was heavily involved in creative in WWE. That wouldn’t be a reason to not go back.
This is not good news.
Meltzer is reporting that AEW is having major trouble selling tickets to the upcoming Grand Slam show at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York on September 20th. According to Meltzer:
Arthur Ashe I was a 20,000+ sellout
Arthur Ashe II last year sold 13,321
Arthur Ashe III next week has so far sold 6,284. Right now they're now doing a " buy 1 get 1 free " promotion to try and boost the numbers.
Meltzer is also saying that these bad attendance numbers are a result of falling TV ratings.![]()
Currently floor tickets are $600, lower bowl is $250, lower section of the upper bowl is $160 and upper section of the upper bowl is $40 not taking into account potential deals to fill the venue. Over the past year if people were asked to give a one word answer on AEW tickets a common word would be expensive. I don't know what models they are using but I can only assume they pick the price points to maximize revenue and aren't as concerned about attendance. Many shows follow the same pattern of slow ticket sales then a week or so before the show they offer buy one get one free or four packs or whatever they can to fill it with people who were sitting on the fence about attending. Maybe there's a chance even the shows that sell well but have more tickets to move offer the same deals closer to the show. At this point if you want to attend an AEW show the best bang for your buck is to wait until the week of the show. The incentive to purchase tickets in advance is low, especially when they keep pulling the same schtick in the same markets show after show. Their other problem is John Doe becomes mad because he paid $150 for a ticket six months in advance and someone is sitting a few rows behind him for $75 or $50 with a ticket purchased within a week of the show. After that happens once why would anyone want to commit early and pay full price (unless they have great seats, maybe first row or two ringside) when the odds are high they can purchase a much cheaper ticket closer to the event date. This is not good news.

Last year's show that lasted longer than a test cricket match left an incredibly sour taste in people's mouths and lots of people have decided to pass on going because of that negative experience. The show ended at 1am on a Wednesday night and even worse was that regional rail back to the suburbs stops around a little before 2am.This is not good news.
