He might recover if Cole turns. Or if Strong turns and becomes buddies with MJF.
 
I see why Omega/Takeshita could have been the main event. Certainly at some point along the way of their story however the feud seems to have fizzled a bit lately. With the OC/Penta main event on the Wednesday before the PPV I see why some think OC/Mox will be the main event. Especially with a potential title change unless some debut costs Mox the match.

I think it will be OC/Mox because the Chicago crowd might shit on Omega if Punk is indeed not on the show.

It is stupid, but it is what it is.

I wish he'd become Pentagon Dark again. I know he was for a spell during the HOB feud, but nothing about him really changed and he lost all of his matches. I feel like full blown Lucha Underground level Pentagon Dark would be very entertaining.

I dont mind if he is Penta El Zero or Obscuro or Dark... I love it all.

He is getting up there in age and I just want to see a feud with someone who can go before he starts to decline.

Penta is great, I loved when impact made him their champion

Could be an unpopular take but I prefer him and Fenix as singles. I think their tag matches don’t ever really make much sense despite being entertaining- they really defeat the purpose of tag matches when everybody’s just kinda doing what they want in there.

Fenix is just outrageous, he’d probably get over doing anything

That first photo reminds me of when my mom would drag my brother and I from the games we were playing or the shows we were watching or whatever so we could do a christmas photo. We'd be pissed off and grumpy, and she was picky so that only tested our patience more. When it was time to take the picture though, our brother and I lit up almost as much as our Christmas tree and then we would continue being annoyed that she interrupted us.

I'm not saying that's what happened here. I have no idea what did or didn't happen but that's the first thing that came to mind. Photos can be quite deceiving :laugh:

If anything wouldn’t that photo be after all that stuff happened too? Like I imagine that was taken after Punk/Joe and this altercation happened before it. Punk does appear to be wildly bipolar though so who knows

we probably shouldn’t believe the people that said Punk and Miro fought as they’ve been out to lunch this entire time

Yeah it doesn't prove anything, but it's odd that he is taking nice photos one second then allegedly screaming at TK that he quits like 5 minutes later.

IF Punk legit started the fight and got into TK's face then you have to fire him. That's just too much, but it does seem like a bit of a big IF that all of that happened like that.

If he’s literally trying to fight Tony Khan and Tony doesn’t fire him that would be very on brand lmao

f*** I wish I had bosses as lenient. Something tells me it was a lot more mild than this report, which makes it seem like Punk is a rabid animal trying to rip Tony’s eyes out


As a random aside I have a feeling Omega puts Takeshita over again this weekend. I think he knows he’s on the back 9 (I’m not saying imminent retirement) and wants to help create a star, and I can’t think of something he’d want to do more than create a big Japanese star in North America

I wish that match was at All In and I also wish it had a better build.

It's obviously going to deliver big time in ring, but I do prefer big matches to have a good storyline with it.

That always ends up being my hang up with AEW. They put on some amazing matches as far as in ring stuff, but a lot of the stories and builds leave a lot to be desired. Obviously their are exceptions (Cole/MJF), but up and down I wish they were better with the builds for big feuds

I do appreciate that they do seem to be trying to get more character work for the talent. They tried something new with Perry, don't think it was working, but I like they were trying something new with him.

Same with Toni, though her new gimmick is working a lot better then Perry, which was a much needed change as she was bland as hell before this

I thought it was fun. Some things in wrestling are ridiculous and that was one of them, but sometimes ridiculous spot sequences are fun. That's my take on it at least.

Also I could totally Regal explain a way about how Orange Cassidy's knees are weaker than pudding so his knees didn't quite grasp Penta's neck therefore the destroyer did way less damage than usual.
 
The PPV tomorrow doesnt make me like excited at all. I also just purchased all these for $30
