I will agree, obviously, that he's one of the GOAT. Personally, I think his current iteration is NOT good. I understand the "brawler" mentality and being a little heavier makes him fit the bill, but to me he looks old and slow.

Genius on the mic. His NJPW work was solid, but very sporadic. The Omega AEW match was not good and he looked really bad in that main event.

I think it's clear that Jericho is done having great in ring matches unless he has an elite in ring performer opposite him to carry him. He seems to have recognized that and smartly gone to a brawling style. Plenty of wrestlers have done that as they've aged or suffered serious injuries. He's still great on the mic and creatively and brings a ton to the table.

I'll withhold that judgment for when he face turns next year...if he did gain weight to be a heel, then we will see if he drops it to be a face and break out a different moveset

He still is an amazing promo and character.

No one cuts a douchey heel promo like him.

Also the saga of this stolen belt has been riveting.
