I don’t care that he’s 40 and hasn’t wrestled in 5 or so years, cm punk in the right work environment is still the top draw. Now I’m not sure exactly what he would want from wrestling, be it status, money or whatever, but the vibe from the AEW guys so far seems like a very wrestler friendly place.

But they might soon realize that writing for tv every week and running house shows every day is too much, and soon we will see the same old shit. Who knows?

I don’t think punk is gonna wrestle again at this point, but damn I’d be glued to whatever program he’s on if he came back for a run.

1. AEW wants to turn it into a work, so they asked the PD to delete the socials about it
2. They found the right belt, but maybe it was an intentional thing and are working through the suspect, so they deleted the socials for now
3. They found someone with a replica belt, took that from that person, and realized they were wrong

MLW has been developing alot of talent it would be a bad look for AEW to completely raid them. A working relationship helps both, two guys to watch are Fatu and Goldstone. Raiding company's would be a very WWE thing to do and I don't think fans would like that
