I`m not convinced of that, Miller`s play has been very good, Kulikov would have to, without question prove he`s the stronger of the two

After last nights hit, and the way he's developing I'm seeing our next Johnny Rocket in Chiller....
Last nights hit was so BOYCHUK!:yo:

Brick: Don how do you feel about this years deadline?

DS: well we stayed the course

Brick: what is the course Don?

DS: well the course is the course and well we're staying on course.

Brick: are you not worried that with your aging core your window may be closing fast.

DS: yes I stayed with the course.

I don't really see it with Vrbata. The numbers look pretty good. Seems to fit the mold of classic deadline flop. Older skill player having a bounce back year on a really bad team. When the pace picks up does he have the legs to take it to another gear? He has to score to contribute. Wouldn't pay any more than what was given for Vanek.

"Bruins currently connected to Vrbata, Kulikov, Halak & the Landeskog rumours won't go away BUT will the price be right on any?"

I'm just hoping the 1st round pick isn't included for any of them but Landy. We have enough prospects to afford giving up 2nds/3rds I think but that 1st will be a good prospect regardless of how weak the draft it.

Hoping for 2018 3rd and a C+/B- prospect for Vrbata. 3rd + Grizz/Ogara etc

The NHL.com stream just called the Habs the "Antichrist" (nodding)..."of analytics"

I totally agree with the first half of that

O'Gara not really a top six. But, pair him with an offensive Dman where he can hold the fort on 2 on 1s, he can be a big (literally and figuratively) addition to the roster.

He's not a top 6 but he can be a big addition to the roster? Maybe I'm misunderstanding.

Other than a top four defensemen there is no reason to add a depth defenseman. They already have Liles and Morrow in that role.

The only depth upgrade would be on Beleskey and Hayes at this point. Again assuming only depth type of players continue to be dealt instead of any blockbusters.
