Now a days most teams just add a so so piece or depth. I actually think Montreal has done well the last 24 hrs but obviously those are not major moves or Ottawa or florida . No team in our division has done anything to effect our chances of beating them Honestly probably only Washington has done anything major.

Same. Love him as the future #3-4 in Boston as the 2nd pairing RHD. Last night was a perfect example of his skills:

1. Goal after jumping up in the play.
2. Great breakout passes.
3. Great clean hit.
4. Carrying the puck out of trouble.

This kid is turning a corner in Boston.

Agreed. However I think the 3rd pairing on the right side is ideal for him he'd thrive there.

To their credit, their holes were depth and physical players where the Bruins two holes are Krejci's wing and a top pairing RHD.

Not easy to fill as we are in year three of those holes.

Top guys are top guys but you need depth to win the cup.

I personally like Montreals moves as I think they got a lot tougher to play against

Think we can pry Seguin from Dallas for a 2nd/3rd liner and some marginal players?

Agreed. I know when they got him there were some Boychuk comparisons (great shot, did well in AHL etc). Here are some numbers:

CMiller: 24 years old, 88 GP, 8-18-26
Boychuk first 88 GP: 25 years old, 5-14-19

And this year Miller has scrapped with a couple of guys and held his own, and has improved alot in his own zone...I really hope he's going nowhere.

Jonathan Dahlén (the kid Senators traded away) just won Guldgallret, Hockeyallsvenskans (swedens second highest leauge) calder trophy.
Sens is gonna miss this kid in a few years thats for sure.
Edit; correcting myself, any player below the age of 20 can win the trophy, meaning a player can win the trophy several times, so its not exactly the equivalent of the calder, but still.

And under contract for another year at only 1M.
