Prepping my popcorn!
Prepping my popcorn!
Imagine the possibilities with a Landeskog-Krejci-Backes line. The nasty would be back.
Something's brewing.
Only pull Sweeney has is with a worse team. Scary.
Isn't that how most trades work? You're either a buyer or seller...and very rarely is there a hockey trade between two contending teams.

Is the Khudobin move a precursor to something else?
The twist is we get worse?
Landeskog is a pipe dream. No way Sweeney pulls this off. But that would be a nice core for another run.
Next year:
Marchand-Bergy-Pasta
Landeskog-Krejci-Vatrano
Debrusk-Backes-Czarnik
Blidh-UFA-Heinen
I like landeskog alot... And I believe getting out of Colorado would be good for him... but that contract can't make sense unless we find a way to move belesky
We already have backes, marchand, pastrnak who will be paid like first line wingers... krecji and bergeron at center
If we go to 6 x 6 million front line guys there's no way to afford 3+ for 3rd line guys
To be honest I'd rather have landeskog and a kid making 6.75 next year than spooner and belesky... so I'm fine with this... I'm willing to give up our first... I'm willing to throw in a decent prospect ( not atop 3 one) And I'm assuming spooner
We have the assets to make it work... just need to make the cap work too
If it is langeskog and iginla
For spooner, first, debusk, hayes... I do this deal too
I want no part of trading Carlo, McAvoy or Lindgren for virtually any forward. There is plenty of room on this defense for all three, and we could desperately use them...even Lauzon would be hard to let go seeing how he's battled his way into minutes for Canada this year.
Definitely hoping Zboril is the D involved with any potential deals we might be trying to swing.
