laf and kakko have a lot of value, but honestly I wouldnt trade Suzuki for them, a young skill center is just too hard to replace unless you are the LA Kings

Pretty much everyone from that top 10 is looking better than him right now.

No, they don’t. You like those players better than Hughes. Don’t claim it’s something that it’s not.

Aside from Hughes, there’s not one season of a player producing at a top six rate.

I wish I had a dollar for every time I heard that...

Only, I thought I was asking a question, not making a proposal

oh, me too....but i've only said it myself once or twice in the 14 years i've been on the forum.

well, technically nothing on this board is proposal because nobody has the authority to propose anything. they are all just fantasy scenarios....which is what you pitched.

I didn't say "producing at a top six rate." I said they all look better than him.

Hughes, Byram, Dach, Seider, Cozens, and Zegras all look better. It's not an excuse.

That’s a subjective judgement. I’m not sure it’s based on anything other than your own subjective views, not objective data.

You can’t suggest his statement is misleading and then ignore that it’s highly unlikely that guys considered worse would be doing better.
I can say that and I did say that. They’re underperforming. Saying they’re doing the best out of their class in the NHL, when there are very few of them in the NHL, doesn’t mean anything.

By all means though, you think this is acceptable production from #1 and #2OA picks in their D+1 and D+2 years? Compared to everyone else they’re sooooo much better.

As a package or individual trades
Need: elite young center with lots of speed

I understand the risks but I always felt like Rangers should just have sucked it up and traded Alexis Lafreniere for Eichel. Elite Centers pop up on the trade market/UFA market like once every 5 years, best to strike when the needle is hot

Drury not wanting to give up Kakko in a trade for Eichel is gonna look so bad in a few years.

I really enjoyed playing against them tonight. Hopefully the Rags trade them to Edmonton. Always amuses me how valuable Rags fans think their players are and then what they end up going for. There is not a fanbase more clueless in terms of player valuation than Rags fans.

We get it, you're bitter Adam Fox didn't want to play for your garbage franchise in your trash ass city in bumblef*** Western Canada

& You couldn't be more wrong, we all fully realize that both these guys clearly suck

It’s not all black and white. Are they underperforming for what was initially expected? Yes. Are they underperforming compared to their peers? No, so maybe fans need to realize that all these draft picks aren’t going to bust, and it will probably just take a few extra years due to some changes in how the game is played now as opposed to five or ten years ago. It’s harder for 18 or 19 year olds to have success in the current league.

He's got 0 points bro.

Nevermind I forget he's still learning how to play hockey.

He has a bigger sample bro than a 7 game sample where he’s dealt with injuries that we can look at. All of the ones you named do.

You are allowed to prefer other players, buts it’s merely a subjective opinion.

Pegula did not want to send Eichel to the Rangers. Might not have mattered.

I wonder what contracts they will demand with this lackluster production.

And I doubt their trade value is very high.

What's up with the Rangers' development of forwards? Kakko hasn't shown any progression, Laf has looked decent but not 1OA level, Kravstov and Lias Anderson both want / wanted out.

The D seem to develop better but if you look at the forwards drafted in the early rounds, there isn't the same growth.

Maybe Tanner Glass isn't the best choice for director of player development

Adam Fox is a Ranger and didn't want to play in your glorified hick town, deal with it.

And you'd have been saying the exact same shit if you had 2 top-2 draft picks in your organisation too, so spare us all your hypocritical gloating, you smug :eek::eek::eek:.
