the Devils wouldnt touch this trade either. Laf has sucked since signing his contract.

Meier needs to produce more, but he hasn't been playing poorly. He is still getting tons of shots.

Noesen fills the netfront role on PP1 better, so we keep Meier on PP2 (who is better suited to being on the halfwall on the PP right side, where we have Bratt on PP1)

I don't particularly care if he does that by making the margin 37-18 or if he does that by making the margin 60-41.

Laf is nearly 400 games into his career and has hit 50 points once. He is a ~0.5 ppg player essentially, and his contract sucks for that.
