Playing rooney over him in Ot is such a joke. Shows a coach not paying attention to what was going on in the game
I’m rubber and you’re glue lolYou’re an idiot
Very very very trueI’m rubber and you’re glue lol
he hasnt done
SHIT
Obviously because he isn't good enoughLafreniere played well tonight. Not spectacular but well. He was involved in a lot of offensive opportunities at ES. I didnt like his or Kreider’s effort on Detroit’s 2nd goal. But he skated well. He looked like he was thinking less and just getting up the ice. I want him to keep shooting. The goals will come.
Don’t understand one bit how he isnt on the ice in OT.
In case you haven't watched this movie a bunch of times, he's saying:good news though....

He easily could have had 4 points last night if wasn’t for poor finishing
That game yesterday was better than most games where he has scored. FINALLY showing the talent of a #1 pick.
He looked like the stud we drafted 1st overall. He won’t have many more zero point games if he plays like that. That's what I saw as well. He was all over the puck and winning battles. It does seem like he is gaining confidence which is key for any player and Zibanejad and Kreider are learning how to utilize him more.
We’re at a stage where it feels like this board will lose their minds if he actually becomes a great player. The main boards will lose their minds if he actually becomes a great player given how much they shit on him.
He had a great game against Detroit, some bad luck with finishing but if he can build on that he'll pot 20 goals this year and go a long way toward improving the team's 5v5 play. He's realizing that he and Mika need to be the drivers of that line.
The guy with the ridiculously high shooting percentage just has bad luck lol
So much cope. “He battled hard!” being some silver lining for a 1st overall pick in one of his many pointless games is sad.
Yeah definitely, he still has plenty to work on, like shoot-out attempts. But I liked a lot of his neutral zone play, stripping puck carriers and moving the other way, then actually carrying the puck in instead of immediately forcing a pass to covered teammates. I think he's finally gaining some confidence with the puck on his stick, figuring out the space.Yeah, I liked what I saw from him last night.
Little things starting to come along. He still needs to keep moving his feet to get his shot off clean. Still getting out skilled/muscled around the boards at times. That will come.
But his game is more noticeable and the skill plays and passes are becoming more frequent. He made some really nice regroup plays in the D zone under pressure. You could see the confidence is building.
Wouldve like to see him get a little 3 on 3 time last night.
Ill tell you what - he hits like a damn truck for a 1OA.
LOLHe said after spending his 431st consecutive day trying to convince a bunch of strangers on the internet that Vitali Kravtsov is the best prospect in hockey.
