The Devils need another top six forward in my opinion
If the Sabres are making moves, is Alex Tuch available? What would it take to get him?

Doubt Buffalo moves him. They’ll probably look to move other forwards. Tuch is probably at the bottom of the list.
While that was true at one point, I think if the past month has told us anything it is that most everyone in the locker room is expendable.
I can understand he's the type of player you need... but if you guys start offloading pieces, you won't be contending during the rest of his contract... wouldn't you rather get some assets that can be developed or flipped?
Hes is unlikely getting traded. You arent getting him for spare parts. The Devils need another top six forward in my opinion

Why would Buffalo start off-loading pieces, let alone Tuch. They're the youngest team, anyway, and Alex is actually one of the few veterans.I can understand he's the type of player you need... but if you guys start offloading pieces, you won't be contending during the rest of his contract... wouldn't you rather get some assets that can be developed or flipped?
Trading Tuch for magic beans would be a PR nightmate. Hes a local kid and fan favorite. While that was true at one point, I think if the past month has told us anything it is that most everyone in the locker room is expendable.
And while I wouldn't necessarily dump him for futures, I wouldn't be opposed to trading him for the right return.
From a value standpoint I'd say 1st+2nd but that means nothing to Buffalo.
I don't see the team doing it. Tuch is probably popular among management and a "culture" guy. So the trade return would have to be something stupid for Tuch to be traded.
He has 1 goal in his last 9 games and 3 points. He is the prototypical Sabres player.Sabres need more players like Tuch, not trade the one they have.
I bet Pegula is the kind of owner that gets great ideas in the shower every morning.Or it would have to be something that was relationship based, something off ice. Like needing to be close to his wife’s family. And that narrows things down to pretty much two teams: Vancouver, where his wife is from or Seattle, which is close enough to be “nearby”. But that’s predisposing that there is some situation that we don’t know about that’s going to cause that to happen.
Didn't we say the same thing about pretty much every other player before they were traded and became great on other teams. Other than maybe ROR who still publicly confessed his loss of love for the game mere months before leading his new team to the cup.He has 1 goal in his last 9 games and 3 points. Shows up when he feels like it.
no, I don't think Eichel or Reinhart was that wayDidn't we say the same thing about pretty much every other player before they were traded and became great on other teams. Tuch had a no quit reputation before coming here that's why many among the fan base wanted him.
Until proven otherwise, it should be assumed it's the team that makes players give less than 100 percent. There's more than enough evidence for that, already.
I specifically remember people complaining about Jacks body language, and him only showing up when he felt like it. As well as Sam being streaky and only getting going once the season was more or less over.no, I don't think Eichel or Reinhart was that way
