If we can get Vandenberg and Krawczyk signed, this is what the roster would look like for 2026-27:

Amidovski - Whitehead - Ekberg
Yanni - Vandenberg - Kelly(OA)
Kingwell - Krawczyk - Perrier
Houben

Marrelli(OA) - Eshkawkogan
Dietsch - Brady(OA)
Bonomo

Nelson

We’d also have another Import, all the ‘09 and ‘10 draft picks to add to that lineup. We could also see a player or two added at the deadline. If Mews is dealt next season, there is the return for him as well. I slipped in the OA’s but we could see upgrades mixed in there as well.

Considering this is two seasons away, if we can get those two signings completed, we would look pretty solid.
Hate to look at the downside to your lineup BUT we have to be careful with the number of NCAA players that we carry in the lineup. For instance, 27-28 will not be a good year as we will lose Vandenberg Kelly Marelli Brady Ekberg

If the M Cup is a goal, we have to look at putting together a team that is going to be here for a while

You are assuming the NCAA guys leave as 18 year olds. I think that is the wrong assumption.

Does anyone have any theories as to why this ream can't kill a penalty?
Do we actually miss Derek Smyth? (this year is worse than last year when Smyth was the PK whipping boy...)

Kingwell didn’t look out of place at all.
Dog on bone mentality and was winning puck battles against veteran players that are much bigger than him.
He also made a couple nice plays in transition with some high IQ plays that I don’t think his linemates were expecting.
Imo he was a pleasant surprise.

Does Mews always slap his stick on the ice constantly for the puck all game long every game? Got kind of old quick watching that everytime his d partner would get the puck he’s tapping for it.
