  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.
I'm in this weird spot where we lost 2 key players, but I think I'm ok with it. I think losing Tuch will hurt them more than Byram at least in the regular season.
I think it'll be Byram if they don't replace him. I can just see Lindy rotating the 3 with each other and some time with one of the other 3. That isn't sustainable IMO. Hope Crevier has enough upside to get a decent amount of ice-time.

On balance, I wanted to see them keep Tuch. The team is close, and I'd rather not give up one of our top forwards.

That said, I can understand it if term was the issue. This is still a young team, and Tuch's contract will, in all likelihood, be a problem in 5 years when most of our top guys are in their prime. So I'm not too upset about it.

Best of luck Alex. Thanks for all the memories.

I’d just add- him getting $10 mil is a problem if Benny is signing for 7.5. You can tell Benny and the team “second contract you get paid fair value, I promise!” but that’d be a promise you can’t keep and they’d know it. Everyone would just want market value from there, and in recent history a lot of the best teams have guys who signed below their worth. I respect it, but it also sucks that they only have to do it because of the cap the owners insisted on.

Anyway, what’s the deal with Kampf? Why’s he involved? Is it just money/roster spots, a 4c?
