I will say this:

If we had missed the playoffs and Tuch walked for nothing, this would be considered another in a long line of franchise missteps. Adams would be at the podium giving every excuse in the book right now why its not his fault Tuch is leaving.

The success the team had this season has made this tolerable if not probably the right move for the team. Combine that with Jarmos great communication and being up front with everything, its a breath of fresh air for a team that has been a tire fire for over a decade.

Yup.

Jarmo: "We will be fine"

It was too bad they took so long to turn things around while Tuch was here on that dirt cheap contract, but alas. Great ambassador for the franchise and played a big role in them getting to the playoffs and through Boston. Hope he gets the bag and generally does well except when playing against us.
Definitely gon shed some grown man tears when the Caps come to visit.

The way Jarmo was talking about it in the presser they just 'want to get some value' for his departure. I doubt this will be part of bigger package. A 4th or 5th round pick seems likely.

Raddysh got a 5th from Toronto in his sign and trade.

I would expect a 4th or 5th back as Washington doesn't need to offload salary ala the Marner sign and trade for Roy trade last year.

All the rumors swirling around made it sound like Seattle or other west coast teams.

Capitals? I don't remember hearing anything like that. (then again, I wasn't paying that close of attention)
