It was too bad they took so long to turn things around while Tuch was here on that dirt cheap contract, but alas. Great ambassador for the franchise and played a big role in them getting to the playoffs and through Boston. Hope he gets the bag and generally does well except when playing against us.

Still a bit surprised Tuch doesnt want to take a run with this team for the next 5+ years. The way Jarmo talked about the situation, they were a bit constricted by the cap. I assume they weren't budging on 9M a year. Also, seemed like the term may have been an issue, too. Tuch will likely get a good amount more over the term if he stayed.

Still, a childhood fan of the team just played a major role in getting this team to the playoffs and tasted the chaos our fans can bring...just surprised that didn't sway him. Of course, he has a wife and family to consider, and Im guessing his wife may have been pushing him to go a different route.

My ex's brother and his wife had a nice house in Reston when their first kid was born. But, they moved to Harrisburg, PA soon after to be close to her family and closer to his family.
