Big life change for #89
Impressed he can kneel down with such tight pants.
Big life change for #89
If the trade was just Eichel for Tuch then Tuch has more then lived up to his end of the deal. Has helped transform the culture, has helped Create and elite number 1 line with a resurrected Skinner and helped Tage reach his potential as an elite number 1 centre. All while being a 6’4, 220 pound PPG power winger who can fly
Krebs, Ostlund and the ‘23 2nd are the cherry on top.
And as some articles lately have touched on I don’t think we have seen Tuch’s best yet. I think he has more to unlock. I think Tage-Tuch will be a nightmare of a playoff matchup.
Alex Tuch now has 39 pts in 34 games, +14. He's no 3rd liner! He played like a captain today!
I think he is the heir to the Captaincy when Okposo moves on
Speaking of Okposo.. I switched my stance. I'm starting to think we throw a 1/2 year extension out. You cant ask for a better 4th line then him, Krebs and Girgs right now. They are starting to gel and Girgensons is rubbing off on Krebs.
I'd say Rasmus is an excellent example of this too. I think he has the inside track, but I wouldn't mind Tuch being the captain whatsoever. There's many great picks to be had.If you like your leaders to lead be example, showing up when everyone else is struggling, adding energy when noone else seems to have any, then Alex is your next Captain.
I understand that many like Dahlin because they see him as our best player, and for some reason people think that is what determines Captaincy. I disagree with that, though they do need to be good enough to lead on the ice as well as off.I'd say Rasmus is an excellent example of this too. Although I don't think he would turn the C down, he is the kind of guy who would like to see the young guys get the letters. Maybe after Kyle and Girgs end there career.I understand that many like Dahlin because they see him as our best player, and for some reason people think that is what determines Captaincy. I think Dahlin is best right where he is, with an "A" as the leader of the defense.
Adams knocked this trade out of the park. And the Risto trade. The Reinhart trade isn't looking half bad either. Those moves are going to reap even more rewards in the very near future. You gotta love that we got a first line, physical, player for eichel who just so happens to be a Sabres fan and is a leader I. The locker room. Oh, and Vegas added a bunch of stuff to the trade.
Excellent trade
That's not why I say that, at all.I understand that many like Dahlin because they see him as our best player, and for some reason people think that is what determines Captaincy. I disagree with that, though they do need to be good enough to lead on the ice as well as off.

Yeah, but they got EichelVegas is very dumb for trading him to us
You dont want to push a guy either, last time that happened he used it to beat the Sabres and had a great game.Yeah, but they got Eichel![]()

I don't really understand where you're coming from with your second comment since your first comment also describes Dahlin.I understand that many like Dahlin because they see him as our best player, and for some reason people think that is what determines Captaincy. well, he was coming off an injury/surgery as well. I would of taken a D over the 2nd, but if that pick turns into something along with Krebs, boy.Adams deserves credit for getting Tuch in the Eichel trade
