were so close to being able to roll

asplund - Thompson - olofsson
Skinner - Cozens - Tuch
Girgs - Mitts - Okposo
Clown - Show - Buffalo

Had hoped Jankowski could lead a 4th line, but that has not gone smoothly. Ultimately want a Isles style energy 4th line, not a spare parts one. The only one that "might" make that is Hinostroza.

Lets not forget the 3 kids on Roch coming even if we have to wait until next year.

Yup, throw those three kids with those 9. And you have 12 interesting forwards.

Tuch was a good get

He isn't far off. He can play without an elite center and he has a knack for being in the right spot. He also has a very nice shot. I would love to see him on a line with Tage and Olofsson. Then there is a part of me who wants to see him with Skinner and Mitts.

He has scored at roughly a 20 goal per 82 games pace throughout his NHL career.

I think he could pop for a 30 goal season. But, expecting him to score 25-30 on a regular basis is as optimistic as people that expected Skinner to score 35-40 goals regularly here.

It really depends on Granato if they are willing to shuffle the Cozens' line. Since that trio actually seems to work, Asplund-Girgensons-Tuch is an option. He can play that sort of low triangle game at and below the goal line that KO and Gus work well.

I had a feeling it might have been Asplund/Mitts/Tuch before Mitts had surgery. Thats if the Skinner/Tage/VO line was still untouchable. If not, Skinner/Mitts/Tuch and a reunited 70s line.

Given our lack of right shot wingers, I doubt we will make Tuch play his off wing. I wouldn't be suprised to see something with him opposite Asplund or Olofsson
Biron mentioned that Tuch played LW for VGK most of the time.

Not sure whether this is true. And I'm not saying it negates your statement. Just throwing it out there.

Dude’s gonna pull a Mitts and get injured again.
