Who did it worse?

The Florida Panthers traded Reilly Smith in exchange for Vegas selecting Jonathan Marchessault and a fourth-round pick in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.[15]
The Minnesota Wild traded Alex Tuch in exchange for Vegas selecting Erik Haula and a conditional third-round pick in the 2017 or 2018 NHL Entry Draft.[21]
The Columbus Blue Jackets traded their first-round pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, a second-round pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft and David Clarkson in exchange for Vegas selecting William Karlsson.[22]
The owners gave Vegas WAY TOO MUCH from an expansion standpoint.

super excited for tuch to join the lineup. I think he is going to have a huge impact out there. also, whenever Casey gets healthy, they should be playing together. I can see them complementing each other really well. lots of skill with both guys but tuch will get to the net and open things up for mitts.

Wonder who he will play with ? Should help pp1. New Years sound about right for timeline now ?

New Years definitely sounds about right based on the information we've heard so far. No need to rush him. Let's see him get some bumps in practice and ease him in from there. I bet he'll play with cozens and okposo, then Murray will take Hayden's spot with gus and ras on L3, making us drastically better on both L2 and L3. who knows though...

My first thought was taking Hayden's spot on the wing with Gus and Asplund.

I'm expecting a down year for him based on the surgery he had and the amount of rehab needed. I think he's a great addition to the team but I think it's gonna take some time for him to get back to form. That doesn't mean I don't think he'll have an impact, but I'm just not expecting him to be potting 15 - 20 goals this season. If he does awesome but if not, he's still better than Bjork or Hayden being in the line-up.

15-20 is his usual full season total 8-10 on this team, in limited game's played, would be nice.

I think Tuch will push 30 goals for the Sabres regularly. He was a 3rd liner for Vegas, so he was getting easy match-ups, but less ice time and was on PP2. He also had his last two season short-circuited by injury.

I think you're looking at a Max Pacioretty or Mark Stone type of player who will score around 30, and wear the C.

I think that is overly optimistic.

He isn't far off. He can play without an elite center and he has a knack for being in the right spot. He also has a very nice shot. I would love to see him on a line with Tage and Olofsson. Then there is a part of me who wants to see him with Skinner and Mitts.
