Habs could easily be in the mix if Dach and Newhook found their game.

As bad as the season start has gone, those two being below half of expected output (let alone optimistic/"breakout" production level) would easily have helped us win 3-5 more games... That would have us sitting in a playoff spot.

The only time you will see Newhook deep in the offensive zone along the board going for the puck is if the goalie is playing the puck.

I wouldn't call him dumb. He thinks the game at a good speed, but his hands aren't always there and he bobbles pucks. He's got to improve his poise a bit. But I definitely do not find him lacking IQ.

He is as vanilla as they come. Doesn’t do really anything well.

He's lacking a little bit of everything and isn't great at anything. He has a good top speed but can't use it as a weapon because he lacks the explosiveness needed to separate himself.
