Slaf - no big deal. Especially since he clearly suffered an injury and is probably not playing healthy. Not worried about him at all.

Dach was never a goal scorer so I'd be less concerned with that. But... he hasn't played well and we were banking on him as our 2nd line center. It's not good news that the guy we're counting on for that role is playing on the wing.

We need to be patient and give him this year to show what he can do. But it really is make or break. If he can't show that he can do it this season then we need to get a 2nd line pivot. We can keep Dach but we shouldn't depend on him going forward. It sucks, it's not fair... the injuries were brutal but we can't just wait around for this guy to do the job.
If Slafkovsky is hurt, they should just take him out. I have no idea why they would want him to play threw something in a lost year. As for Dach, keep playing him until he actually busts. There’s nobody in this line up that’s blocking him from playing. If he doesn’t rebound at some point, we can make a decision then.

Yeah, as I just mentioned in another thread... if they don't trust Dach then maybe just get a 2nd line center to get us through this period. Let Dach find his game on the wing. He can always be put back there later if there's an injury. The team has been so patient with him but him shitting the bed now is just...

If Dach doesn't improve over the course of the year in a massive way I don't think there's any possibility of the Habs not actively acquiring a scoring center. They'll have to. It'll cost an arm and a leg though and what a massive disappointment considering what we gave up for him.

Injuries f***ed things up. Nothing you can do about that.

Habs could actually take a look at Malkin. He's got a year and a half left, the Pens have the worst goal differential in the league, he could be a good bridge for now. 6 mil a year, we picks the other way and have them eat some of that cap. He wouldn't be that expensive.

I don’t think it’s time for them to go. I think they have a few more weeks and months to their credit but the seat is getting hotter. You can’t have the whole team look so disjointed.

Ya he will probably get a few more weeks or months but for me it should have been done at the end of last season, saying we saw some progress last year to me is bullshit, the only reason we where in games was Monty playing way over is head, the team was playing like chickens without heads just like this year.

Took this coaching staff 3 seasons to figure out that a rookie D should play on his strong side and the veteran on is off side for god sake, not to mention this ''everything is ,fine part of the process attitude'' the coach is displaying in his presser.

As for ''the seat is getting hotter, it was showing in MSL presser yesterday.....'' about f***ing time
