I don't know enough about Newhook to comment too enthusiastically, but if he doesn't pan out this feels like a lot to give up.

I have faith in HuGo and they did great with the Dach move last year and this feels similar so...

Didn't want to lose 31 and 37 but I've always liked Newhook and he can potentially help us a lot sooner.

Think this is a pretty good indicator PLD isn't coming to Montreal, unless the plan is to flip Newhook before the draft.

Edit: NVM, looks like PLD to LAK is pretty much done.

Why. I'm not like the others. I dont like this trade. We have wayyyy too many forwards like this. And im not sure Newhook is the type of player we should be aiming for.

Not too thrilled about this. Mainly because I was looking forward to a few guys in those draft slots. I liked him pre draft but he’s been pretty underwhelming, to the point Colorado prefers Ryan Johansen.
