Pretty much after 20 games they have followed the same script as years gone by.

Sluggish start, hot November.

How they arrived there has been the intriguing part.

15th in the league goals for, I believe tied for 3rd goals against.

With 7 supposed starters out, there is not much to complain about. Marner has been great. Nylander is scoring. Tavares is off to a good start.

Playoffs will be the ultimate test but I enjoy the ride of the regular season
