7th coming in to the game. Hershey is 5th, which is surprising. They were one of the least penalized teams during the season. Monsters currently on their 4th PP. Back to back PP's and nothing to show for it. Hershey came in over 90 percent on the PK.

First game in the playoffs that Hershey gave up more than 3 goals, which they have done once.

Monsters just don't have enough. Lose 5-4. Had some chances in OT. Good effort, just need to be better in game 2. Nice to see the compete after Hershey owned them during the season. Going to be a tough series.
