Man, I have no idea what is gonna happen on Sunday. I know the Bills have the ability to beat the Chiefs, whether or not they can do it is another story. This year does sort of feel different. Kind of like Buffalo's time has finally come, but we'll see. The Bills will definitely be hungry, but is that enough? I'm super nervous for this one.

I am about the same level of respectfully confident this week as last week.

The only difference for me is that the Bills haven't won away from home in the playoffs in the McD/Allen era.

But, they have beaten so many narratives and expectations this season, why not another one?

100%. Not that fan feelings and confidence matter at all, but I'm strangely calm about this week, and less nervous about playing this years Chiefs than the Ravens.

Last week I wasn't going to be surprised if either team won.

This week, I won't be surprised if either team wins.

It's going to come down to a handful of key plays and taking care of the football. And these types of playoff games can go either way.

Milano being limited is a good sign, right? Not sure where being limited in practice puts Benford on the protocol timeline. Seems like a good sign, no? I'm assuming this mean Johnson is practicing since we didn't hear anything?

I'm trying to get high on any copium I can.

Also, for as much crap as Hamlin has taken this season- he looked pretty damn good from my perspective on Sunday. Hard to judge a S much without looking at the film, but he had some nice stats.

For me, I'm more confident in this game than I was last week.......but I'm still not saying that this is even a 50/50 chance. MAYBE we get to a 40% chance in my brain.......my brain said we had like a 10-25% chance against Baltimore.

ESPN Analytics FPI has the Bills at almost 55% to win on Sunday. FWIW

I thought the Baltimore game was a true toss up, us being at home made it 50/50.

I think we are a better team than KC, though they are at home and have the NFL voodoo on their side. I’d say we a 60% chance of winning, pretty close to a toss up

We're going to win (assuming Milano/Johnson/Benford are healthy), then we're going to whoop on Philly in the SB. This is OUR year.

For benford, I believe participating in practice puts him at the last phase of the concussion protocol already

Club-based non-contact training drills

Players reaching the fourth stage are able to start throwing, catching and running and engage in activities more specific to their position. They also can continue to ramp up their exercise and training. By end of this phase, players have to have undergone neurocognitive and balance testing.

As far as Milano as the Hamstring are....I'm assuming as long as it doesn't impede him he will play, especially with a two week break if we win.

Well, the 1st drive didn't look great and the last drive didn't look great. part of that was simply Lamar buying time with his feet. Overall it was a solid game though

Jets hiring Aaron Glenn. Decent enough move for the Jets.....let's see how it blows up.

My wife and I constantly are reminded of how nice people are in Buffalo every time we go back. People in my part of the country are private and transient. You can't just strike up a conversation with someone on the street or in a restaurant. People here are very guarded and insular. It makes it difficult to have meaningful relationships.

Football Zebras has confirmed the assignment of referees Shawn Hochuli and Clete Blakeman to the Conference Championship games on Sunday. Hochuli will have the NFC game between the Commanders and Eagles; Blakeman will be heading the crew for the AFC title match between the Bills and Chiefs.

Shawn Hochuli is working his first Conference Championship, adding to his playoff résumé which includes a Wild Card Playoff and 7 Divisional Playoffs. He has an on-field playoff assignment in every year he was eligible.
