I think Adam will plan to re-sign with the Sens. He'll appreciate the opportunity and relationship imo and specifically named Travis Green as the reason he came back to Ottawa.
We should have been playing Gaudette on the first line earlier in the season before November.
I posted it on October 29th that we should give him a shot on the first line.
Paul-Stutzle-Gaudette
Give it a try
Just info & not a comment on your post.Maybe time to give him more than 12 minutes per game.
Yep, wouldn't move him from the top line. Why? Because he's a natural goal-scorer and we have one of the premiere passers in the world.Maybe time to give him more than 12 minutes per game.
Pretty impressive lol. I remember at the beginning of the year we all thought - correctly - that Green would deploy him on PP2 as one of the point men, but he's taken that and run. Mixed with some bullish work from the previous iteration of the 4th line, he's a natural.Gaudette is 23rd in goals scoring in the NHL rn
With 10:26 of TOI
Nobody is under 15:00 TOI in the first 37
Jeebus! $3.5!?Dude touches the puck and it goes in the net. His goals don't look fluke either, it isn't like they are bouncing in off him. They are almost all high skill goal scorers goal. Doesn't seem like he can create for himself, but that's true for lots of goal scorers.
I'd say he couldn't come close to keeping this up on 4th line/PP2 mins, but on the first line with Stutzle playing like this? He can score 30+ IMO.
If I'm Sens and he keeps this up you offer 2 years at 3.5. That's retirement level cash for Gaudette and if he keeps it up he gets a big contract.
Get yours at SoA Variety. Black Friday deal... you snooze you lose.
3.5 total or per year? Because no to one and yes to the other.Dude touches the puck and it goes in the net. His goals don't look fluke either, it isn't like they are bouncing in off him. Sorry we don't have any replicas of those jock straps available and they have been back ordered so long that I doubt we will be getting any.I know people like to make fun of him for the crystal things, but honestly, it's way less gross of a superstition than Crosby using the same jock strap since high school.
Ya, for a night he scored 2, he had some god awful plays in the d zone.He makes the wrong play most of the time but he also scores most of the time too
Ostapchuk is a better 4C than Gaudette defensively ...its not his strength..Ya, for a night he scored 2, he had some god awful plays in the d zone.
He'll price himself out of Ottawa if he asks for $3.5 million. The most he's getting given the deployment he's getting + an absurd 35% shooting percentage is a couple of years at $2 million, but if not, Staios will have to go bargain hunt somewhere else.If I'm Sens and he keeps this up you offer 2 years at 3.5. That's retirement level cash for Gaudette and if he keeps it up he gets a big contract.

Pretty much every game. The less it’s on his stick the betterYa, for a night he scored 2, he had some god awful plays in the d zone.
It almost looked at times like he a case of the yips and just panicked that looked weirdly worse than he has been, but ya, definitely not his strength either way.Pretty much every game. The less it’s on his stick the better
