Thanks for the hockey “opinion”. Strome is a terrible defensive player, and Fox’s d analytics are top 2 or 3% in the league.

Honestly, the norris voting has been good for the past few years now. Hedman in 2018, Giordano in 2019 (especially this year), Josi in 2020, and Fox this year. Solid voting by the writers.

"A" second-rounder? No. It was two very high second-round picks acquired for Fox. It was one of the largest packages ever given in exchange for an NCAA prospect. One of those picks was used on Noel Gunler, one of the favorite winger prospects in Sweden, and the other was used in a trade-down with Ottawa in order to get the picks that were used for Jamieson Rees and Anttoni Honka. Essentially, three very interesting prospects were generated from the Fox trade, and it wouldn't shock me if at least two of them become NHLers. Almost certainly not as good as Fox, but considering the bad circumstances, it was a good outcome.
