Adam Fox wins Norris

This will prevent Hedman from making it into the HOF and was Hedman's last chance to win the Norris since he's ancient now.

Complete joke, First time Ive ever seen a right winger win the Norris. But why bother watching him play when you can simply look at the box score and add up points. The box score doesn't show Buchnevich and Strome playing his position 3/4 of the time because hes caught up the ice.

Thanks for the hockey “opinion”. Strome is a terrible defensive player, and Fox’s d analytics are top 2 or 3% in the league.

His defensive metrics/advanced stats are top notch but let’s just ignore that too, I guess.

But I’m sure a fine Isles fan like yourself is watching Fox play in an unbiased manner.

In a full season he probably doesn't win this, same with MAF for the Vezina. They need to only have 100 votes every season. At least they know how to actually choose the correct players. lol

Not sure how I feel about Fox winning when NY didnt make the post-season

Luckily for the Metro this raises his next cap hit

So, what's his AAV going to be on the next contract. Cheapskate Melnyk threw 8M per at Chabot, and that's without Norris.

I expect 9.5M - 10M range.

So you watched one shift of Rangers hockey this year? Really neat, man.

Young future Norris winner for a second round draft pick? I would have let him rot instead of selling him for a 2nd rounder.

"A" second-rounder? No. It was two very high second-round picks acquired for Fox. It was one of the largest packages ever given in exchange for an NCAA prospect. One of those picks was used on Noel Gunler, one of the favorite winger prospects in Sweden, and the other was used in a trade-down with Ottawa in order to get the picks that were used for Jamieson Rees and Anttoni Honka. Essentially, three very interesting prospects were generated from the Fox trade, and it wouldn't shock me if at least two of them become NHLers. Almost certainly not as good as Fox, but considering the bad circumstances, it was a good outcome.

Can't imagine how sour I'd be as a Flames fan

He literally refused to sign with teams other than NY, his hometown. He really dictated where he was going to play. Not really fair, but I guess CAR still got 2 2nds
