Oh..and 4th team in 2 years? WOW

Three of those four teams are good organizations, so while they did move him, they saw something in him to begin with.

Edmonton is a dumpster fire. Being let go by them is neither good nor bad since that organization is completely clueless.

This confirms that we signed nobody today. Otherwise he'd leak it.

Well someone brought up Anton Stralman. Just making sure everyone's expectations are realistic.

Stralman couldn't make the Devils out of training camp and your criticism was that this guy got bounced around.

I brought that up to say that he's the only UFA who even fits the mold of a defenseman who is still young enough to turn his game around.

Stralman wasn't expected to make the team when we brought him in. I think his name was mentioned as evidence why a move like this is a decent gamble.

By the way, how embarrassing is Zipay about this? Yet again...

NYR sign Detroit's Adam Clendening

No, Steve, he wasn't from Detroit.

CX: Clendening former Wing, was with Oilers

No Steve, he is not a former Wing.

He's thinking of Luke Glendening

Well, that doesn't make it better, does it? One is a defenseman who just went unqualified and the other is a forward who isn't even a free agent.

Maybe an acceptable mistake from a poster around here, but c'mon.

Torts fall all his faults helped turn his career around. Same with Brian Boyle, Prust, Johnny Mitchell, etc.

decent pick up, pending NYR moves he might be in the mix or at the least solid D in Hartford.

This is a guy that kept getting plucked off waivers by other teams when they tried to seak him back to the minors.

More likely the Rangers medical staff. That being said, the point here remains the same.

AV on the other hand put our entire roster in a position to fail. It's no coincidence nearly all our players had the worst years of their careers or regressed hard. Basically everyone outside JT. And the team had their worst playoff showing since 2006.

Eh. We've debated this a lot. I'm still of the opinion that he was handed an unbalanced roster and didn't hit on any successes to address it.

Either way, Clendening is as likely as not to even make the roster.
