The puzling part was not the Leafs diving like the Sedins... The puzzling part was the refs calling soo many penalties which would have been borderline in the regular season let alone playoffs.Refs are well aware that Leaf players embarrassed them last night. Won’t be getting easy calls going forward
Sens embarrassed themselves. Overall they played decent 5 on 5, but they were probably the most undisciplined team I have ever seen. Batherson and Greig are especially stupid. Senators need to focus on disciplined play and definitely work on the PK/Faceoffs. They got buried on the PK and lost every draw, they win a faceoff and none of those PP goals happen.Refs are well aware that Leaf players embarrassed them last night. Neither would.
Yes, Leafs are the clear favorites but they have choked year after year after year with this same core and not made changes. Why would this time be any different?
Like the imaginary call on Stutzle’s hit against Tanev?Sens embarrassed themselves. Overall they played decent 5 on 5, but they were probably the most undisciplined team I have ever seen. The Senators looked like what they are, a young hungry inexperienced team. You could see their players were caught off guard with the hitting and intensity of the game, lots of small lazy plays and guys not bracing for impact.
You can't be serious lolLike the imaginary call on Stutzle’s hit against Tanev?
It is possible that the Leafs are finally getting the reffing they didn't have in previous years. They're a veteran team, without dirty players or rats (sans Domi), that don't whine and complain.Lmao sure.
and gaudette wanted nothing to do with itThat’s a Max Domi “fight” for sure
When was the last time anyone called Gaudette a fighter? I don’t think anyone would call that a fight for Gaudette either but that was a typical fight for DomiIt’s one thing for sens players to act like they’ve never been here before but fans too?

Although, most of the penalties were legitimate ...
I will say, that Matthews call was a complete dive, after watching the replay, you could see he barely touched 34 and he went diving into boards as if he was going swimming.
He can't be doing stuff like that, early in the playoffs, if we go for a deep run, refs will be aware of stuff like that.
Offtopic, why do they put the stats like that? AFAIK he let in 6 goals and not 6.01?
Because he didn't play the whole 60 - prob due to a delayed penalty call where he was on the bench for a short period of time.Offtopic, why do they put the stats like that? AFAIK he let in 6 goals and not 6.01?
He came in slowly when McMann was taken down and Kleven hit him in the face.To be fair he was engaged with a different player when Domi grabbed him. Where did Domi come from btw?
Exactly. Enjoy the win and 1-0 series lead, but be humble.
Sens steal one in Toronto tomorrow and the whole series flips.
Time on the ice. So when he was pulled, that time is removed and hence it bumps up to 6.01Offtopic, why do they put the stats like that? AFAIK he let in 6 goals and not 6.01?

He came from being cross checked in the face and said Sen not manning up.To be fair he was engaged with a different player when Domi grabbed him. Where did Domi come from btw?
