Nice come back win. Wish the Oilers would stop spotting teams multi-goal leads in the first, but not gonna complain when they dominate the other two periods and win anyways.

This team’s standard and buy in has gone up. Prior to 2022, it was regular to see players give up defensively, take shortcuts , lazy plays, etc. The playoff runs the last few years have matured this team. Even Jeff Skinner was back checking, which he hasn’t done his whole career. This is a good , mature team that has a high level of accountability in that room. Feels good to say that man.

Oilers are like my old F150 Ford... weak starter... but once it gets going it's loud and proud and gets the f***ing job done.
Some of these "fans" think bowman is doing nothing if he doesnt pick up or trade for every player that gets moved.

Bouchard had a dominant game, even the goal against, sometimes great players make great plays, we see McDavid do it all the time.
Still ended up +2 with the GWG.
I feel like if someone pays Rantanen big bucks and they don't have a top 3 C like Mackinnon, it's not gonna end well. Guy is way closer to the Nuge/Hyman tier than McDrai or Mack.
