I've seen both sides. I've been to some cities where I was treated very nicely... I've been to other places where I wouldn't go to the washroom by myself.

It's too bad, but it's the risk of visiting the enemies barn.

Been to many NFL and CFL games in the opposition's house (while being clearly ID'd by jersey, and not without some good-natured exchanges), but have *never* run into this kind of thing.

Out of all the Jets he has disappointed me the most during the regular season and playoffs, is he injured, is he done, is he having an off year (2 years running) is very concerning considering he signed a new contract that kicks in next year, play must improve we can't pay a 3rd line centre over 5 mil a years.
I actually think Little has been skating and forechecking well, and playing well in his own zone. But his hands and passing seem to have deserted him. He's made a number of poor passes that have created problems for the Jets, and he doesn't seem to be finishing like we expect.

Stop with the 1st year/ expansion team/ no star players etc.....that's just an excuse to not play as hard. If the Jets want to move forward they need to beat the Pacific champions, thankfully it's not Anaheim in its prime,or the Stanley Cup winning Kings of years gone by.
Our young guns are making mistakes that our goalie is not bailing them out of. I haven't seen 4 lines roll dominant for more than a shift against these guys yet. Mostly we are being out- goalied and that gives them more energy.
Helly needs to win the next one.....or Fluery lose it.

Either Little played hurt all season or he got old and over the hill really early in his career and really fast, guy is a shadow of what he was two years ago!

PS Little's decline was already pretty noticeable last season!
Little had a pretty good game I thought, was all over the puck.

Really hope the Jets can come out with much better efforts right out of the gate on Friday. One thing I didn't want to see but I did early last night was the Jets D taking their time getting the puck, and taking their time to try to move it up the ice. I think the way that Vegas is game-planning, that the Jets have to get the puck quick and either one pass it up the ice, or just flip it out to the neutral zone and attack it with speed.
I think that's exactly what Maurice was chewing them out for after the 3rd goal. They seemed to be much better the rest of the way, need to play that way from the start. They're reversing the puck way too f***ing much.

My "guess" was Maurice wanted to keep the speed element on that line that Ehlers brings. Sometimes so long as you have a strong pair (Stastny - Laine) you can add a lesser talented, hardworking player like Tanev and see success.
Roslovic is far from slow.

I don't think any other major league would be celebrating that an expansion team is beating supposed upper echelon teams with big payrolls, it's great what they have done in Vegas having a great team andgetting the fans pumped but is this sustainable if they don't have great upcoming years , they have spoiled the fans in year one.
Amen!

The Little of past would of buried his chance, I agree his skating and forechecking is fine both he and Matty P are fine in that regard but we need more than that from both, maybe he snaps out of it and finds his scoring touch again hockey is funny that way.

I'm wondering if it's time to shift him to the wing?

Connor - Scheifele - Wheeler
Ehlers/Perreault - Stastny - Little
Perreault/Ehlers - Lowry - Laine
Tanev - Copp - Armia

When you really think about it we are really short on experience and it' starting to show:

Playoff rookies:

Ehlers
Laine
Connor
Morrissey
Helle
Copp
Tanev
Armia
Roslovic

That is three top 6 players, a top pairing dmen and our number 1 goalie as well as half our bottom 6.

Add to that the following players had less than 5 games of experience heading in:

Scheifele
Trouba
Little
Lowry
Chariot
Toby

That works out to 3/4 of our starting lineup being incredibly short on experience. Is it any wonder that there have been growing pains. In fact I think the team has done very well to make it where they have. The good news is that their is still so much growth potential with our young guys.

Me either and I've been to a number of away Premier league games on top of NHL, NFL, MLB, CFL. It's bullshit behaviour and not common. Good natured ribbing yes, never any kind of harassment.

A friend of mine who went to Vegas for both games was harrassed non stop during the game to the point he isn't sure he wants to the next game.

Someone I know who went to the game said the same thing. Had beer and food intentionally spilled on his Jets jersey, and was verbally harassed by fans the whole time. When he talked to an usher he was told he should have expected it, being a visiting team fan in the building. He's writing to the organization but doesn't expect much.

Vegas has not suffered yet and their fans have no clue what the pain of building a good team is yet..

Lets see what happens when their team does not make the playoffs for years.

I want it so bad because I feel we are so close that a trip to the finals is at our fingertips, but I do catch myself having to remind myself just how young/inexperienced the bulk of this roster is..

That is sad and classless.

Nashville and Minnesota fans never once resorted to that type of bullshit.

At the end of the day this what frustrates me the most. After waiting all my life to see this, not to mention 16 long years without an NHL team, this first year freaking team, with it's clueless fan base is on the verge of spoiling it.

Great goaltending wins SCs and that has been the difference in the past 2 games. We have made plenty of mistakes all season long but have been bailed out time and time again by Helle. Now he is doing his best imitation of Pavelec and needs to get back to form if we are going to win this series.
I am not blaming--there have been many Veniza quality goaltenders who have struggled in the playoffs, including MAF, and the Rule of 15 is sobering--but Helle needs to be a difference maker in Game 4.

The young fella (29) has actually been a liability, I get he’s young and all, but man does his overall game need lots of improvement. I’m sure he’ll get there, but I’m not feeling as confident as I once did after watching him over the last while.

Way too often the difference between other players and Laine is like the difference between NHL football and tag football, with a bit of rhythmic gymnastics thrown in. He's been in the league two full years and should be closer to a manly game.

Yep, you need your goalie to lock one down on the road for you if you want to keep going. The Jets really need him right now.

Ok , was out of town since Monday morning is Ehlers hurt ? I love Tanev but 2nd line is a little above his pay grade . Helly don't play the puck , just concentrate on stopping the puck and let our defensemen go and get it . Need to come ready to play right from the opening face-off against these gnats , we have more talent but they never stop working .
