I considered a yes. “Maybe the guy needs a quick tenner. Maybe doing a jig to in the buck to overrated classic rock is what brings him joy. “Who am i to judge?

The legal ramifications just could not be ignored.
You know, now that you mention it, I've reconsidered and I'd go $20.

With the provision that the video gets posted on this board......Whaddya say we pass that hat?

NeelyDan's Friday Five:

1. A cruise in the Caribbean, diving in Thailand, or a safari in Kenya - what are you choosing, young padiwan?
2. Would you pay me $10 to get naked and sing Boston's "More Than a Feeling?"
3. After you've passed, our friend up there in the sky informs you that you get to return to your physical body for a single day to do the one thing you enjoyed most during your life on earth - what is that thing?
4. Remember all that required reading in high school? Were there any books you particularly loved? Any that you hated?
5. What was the first album/cassette/CD you ever bought?
1.None really. Maybe I take the cruise.
2. I would pay you more to remain clothed.
3.Eating pizza, while watching the Bruins.
4. Catcher in the Rye
5
. Can't really remember. I think it was the Beatles' Red Album on tape.

1. Kenya
2. Nope.
3. Christmas Day 2008. My kids are still young and my Dad was still early in his Alzheimer's battle.
4. Loved: To Kill a Mockingbird (Still an all-time favorite), Red Badge of Courage, Lord of the Flies, Huck Finn. Hated: The Scarlet Letter, Pride and Prejudice, The Great Gatsby; (most overrated novel of all time, and all the characters are loathsome), Catcher in the Rye (also massively overrated IMHO).
5. KISS Double Platinum (I was 11 at the time).

So are you saying you want to see him naked, then????
Agree about Gatsby. Catcher is no longer my favorite, but I still like it.

I’ve seen worse videos on social media just this afternoon, so I’m cool with that tape being distributed here via PM

1. None of them. I like winter stuff! But if I had to choose? I guess a safari in Kenya.

2. Abso-f***ing-lutely. Without a doubt. I want it drunk karaoke style!

3. Oh man. Well...I guess spending time with my family.

4. Our Town (I still have dreams of performing that on stage one day),The Scarlet Letter, Little Women, Romeo & Juliet, All Quiet on The Western Front, To Kill A Mockingbird, Lord of The Flies, The Great Gatsby, The Giver, 1984, Pride & Prejudice, The Outsiders, The Canterbury Tales, Wuthering Heights. I could go on and on on the ones I LOVED.

The ones I hated that will stay with me forever are, The Odyssey, The Hound of the Baskervilles, Beowulf, Tess of the D'Ubervilles, As I Lay Dying...I'll stop myself now lol I LOVE reading, so for me to hate these is a big deal.

5. First album ever bought? well it was a cassette tape of Another Night by The Real Mccoy (I was 5). And then a cassette tape of Hanson's Mmmbop( I was 7). Those I bought myself at Ames (iykyk).

This reminds me of a nice memory/life lesson I learned at Ames.

6-12 months after I bought the two Green Day cassettes I mentioned, mom took to Ames to buy the 311 self titled CD. This almost made the cut in my response because it was my first CD. I had a 20 and a 10 rolled up in my Florida Panthers Starter jacket from my Patriot Ledger paper route money. I get in line to pay and my money is gone. Lost a 20 and a 10 in one shot. Searched the store high and low and found nothing.

I learned the hard way not to ball up money and stuff it in a pocket.

Now comes the most painful part of my hip replacement surgery- paying the hospital, surgeon etc after the insurance company has paid. Unfortunately I have a very high deductible otherwise I couldn't afford the premium, between that & the extra expenses that always come with major surgery I'm looking at around $10,000. Fortunately I had time to set aside money to cover most of it. I'm going to use the payment plans they offer, I don't like tying up such a large amount of money on just one thing. This way if life throws me another financial curve ball somewhere I'll be in better shape to handle it.
I have a $5k deductible, $6300 max OOP. Thankfully we have an HSA with matching employer contributions, so as much as I could use the extra money in my paycheck, I can't pass up free money from the employer.

Don't you love my redneck duct tape job?

Still no decision from the other driver's insurance company. This morning I called for an update and he said he had left messages for the other driver but hasn't heard back from him. In my mind that should just be an admission of guilt. I just want my car fixed!! I hadn't even made the first payment on the car yet when this happened.

One piece of advice- be persistent & call the claim rep every day. Until the claim rep gets the other driver's story he can't do anything either way. If you're breathing down his neck he'll get it done.

Mine is $8500, 9100 max OOP.
