Woll may have quietly stolen Murray's job.

He's been very strong in his short stint and with Murray's struggles plus his injuries, I could see the Leafs quietly keeping Murray on the IR. If Woll does get into a playoff game and struggle, I could see Murray getting reactivated for a chance.

Here on the Boards we've often lamented at the "Leafy" thing that is done. This team lately has done many Un-Leafy things. In the past, the team may have rested on their accomplishments and not done the professional thing and get up for these final games. But they realized that they needed to use these games to become more connected as Keefe says and won games against three tough playoff teams. I'm proud of the season the team has had and really think the makeup of this team is different heading into the playoffs. They may still lose cause you need luck to win, but I think they're going to give it their all. GLG

Gotta love that the Leafs reward for finishing fourth in the league is playing the first place team in the second round if they advance
Wouldn't we play Boston regardless in the 1-8 format as well? I forget the old 1-8 playoff bracket. Did it go 1st vs 8th and 4th vs 5th in the top and then 2nd vs 7th and 3rd vs 6th in the bottom half?

Edit: I just looked up an old bracket and I am wrong. We'd play the 2nd place team if they advanced.

not many people dislike 3’s play more than I on a semi regular basis ….
But …
He did make his usual 1-2 real bone head plays , but he also had 4 hits and 2 Blocks and was even …he has also been much more physical all over the ice since the dead line and recently .
So today I say ..
3 , let’s start anew , this years playoffs and considering your recent play snd size at least , clean slate in my books …
Justin Holl good luck in the playoffs and I hope you have the postseason of your life Brotha …
It’s time to start again with a greasy attitude boys and girls , young and old , I say let bygones be bygones ..
Alex Kerfoot welcome once more !
And everyone else
One Team , one Leaf , one Nation !
Let’s beat these Phuqquen Bolts !!!
5-6 games We take this one !
No matter who plays ,who fills in , who’s healthy or not , hot or cold , this is our year !
Go Leafs go !

It reseeded, no? So no guarantee we'd be playing Boston second round in that format.

Marner finishing with 99 points… literally the best player on the team.

Love how heavy Matthew Knies plays… like Auston says, we’re trying to do something special here.

It's really unfortunate that the NHL robbed one of the NHL's biggest stars of his 100 point milestone.

111 point season. Pretty darn good.

Onto the playoffs.

Yeah, we didn't just feast on bad teams to get those numbers. All the good teams we played really tough and looked like a bunch of skidmarks against the shItty teams. Coming into the season, I honestly thought we'd be sitting around 95-100 points. The line up to start the season really wreaked of regression.

Only 8 regulation losses at home all year. Pretty f***ing great. One of only 3 teams in the whole league with single digit regulation losses at home.

Other two are Tampa and Boston of course.

Home Ice matters

Sitting in Etobicoke general with my wife and newborn daughter watching game 82. I feel like this is a good sign for this years playoffs, lots of positivity, good things will happen.

I hope her name isn’t Stanley :)

Couldn’t be happier with the awesome additions and subtractions we’ve made . Win or lose , at least there’s a competitive team out there for every inch and sticking up for each other and some grit and grease and excellent goaltending .
So impressed with Woll , Caber , Acciari , ROR and the rest .
