Been solid behind pretty shoddy defensive zone play at times... that's good to see cause you know that's going to get cleaned up.

I agree. It’s one of those situations where a player looks decent, then falls off the face of the earth.

Example: Brian Gionta after 5 games.

Or Drew Stafford. Stempniak is a competent vet that can shoot. I can think of worse things to have in the booth. If I kept Winnik, I’d need him in the lineup. Doesn’t seem like a guy I’d want to come in cold. Gotta keep those legs moving.

JFK might be Heinen last year where Heinen went down to start the season and that little extra seasoning in Providence went a long way in his development.

As 37, 63, 47 get older I want to see less of them on the PK so they can stay fresh.

I’d say he’s progressing. From the little I’ve seen.

Much more noticeable (in a good way) this game. I think it’s a comfort thing honestly.

The 13th forward doesn’t play much. At least to start the season. Why not have a kid in PROV instead?
