And how many did Bobrovsky have to deal with?

Do you think Canada is losing with Holtby? Or tied? I dont.

I dont get bolstering Price for saves you expect a elite goaltender to make. If the Panarin shot went in on Price, Lundqvist, Holtby, Bobrovsky, etc most would have said it was mediocee.

Green shots are what I consider Grade A chances. You said Russia had none.

Who knows how many goals Holty would have let in. I doubt most expected Crawford to let in a zero angle shot, either.

Good point. But if you know how to watch goalies, Price is fascinating. And he wasn't so good his first couple years, he learned to elevate his compete level after his sophomore year.

Many were calling for Habs to go with Halak instead of Price. Smarter heads prevailed.

Considering they had 3 PPs. How many chances Canada had 5v5? one, because of a dumb Kulikov play

Russia had 2 PP's. How many chances have they had in total, in any situation? Canada had more chances, and goals, when Russia was on the PP.

it's all PP. 5v5 Canada is not better than Russia

6 shots even. 7 shots power play. 4 shots short handed.

The canadians have more shots short handed then the russians have on the power play lol. And nearly as many as many total.

I've been thinking the same thing every time I watch Canada play. Guy should have passed on the tournament and worked on getting his game back up to par. Take him off the pp at least.

Meanwhile, one of Canada's best, if not the best pp specialist is watching from the press box. What does Stamkos do that G can't?

Canada had a great 1st period but Russia has like 5 guys that can pull off some insane goal like Crosby's

Who knows, I can only speculate.

Point being, facing one good chance in the period is nothing. You should expect an elite goaltender to stop it. If the second two periods are like the first, Price should allow 0-1 goals this gam.
