Sweden makes icing at the end and Marjamaki ices Komarov-Filppula-Jokinen, which one of them is going to score a goal there? No one.

Koivu's line hasn't been very good this period. In fact, i'd say it's been the worst line. But hey, have it as the 1st line for some reason...

I don't know, Granlund has been rather good, I would say all our lines have been excellent. Very tight game obviously but much better so far than the debacle that I have already mostly forgotten. Seems that so has Finland...

You would think with how bad Karlsson is defensively according to HFboards, that Finland would have gotten at least a shot off on that 3-on-1 when he's the only man back.

Koivu blew it, no credit to Karlsson on HF buddy.

OEL hasn't been anywhere near what he's capable of either.

Not sure why he can't dominate like in the NHL, seems like he's got no confidence once he wears the three-crowns jersey.

Only the US team rivaled Sweden this year but usually year after year we have truly puzzling player selections.

I figured the selections would be pretty cookie cutter in this world cup of hockey.

Finlands period all the way. Sweden looks unmotivated while Finland plays to stay in the tournament. Guess we have to hope for some easy goals and good goaltending from lundqvist.

It's kind of embarrassing that they've been the worst line in both ends of the ice.
Barkov line doesn't seem to spend any time in the defensive zone, they get out fast.

Granlund has been good? I didn't think so, he got bullied out of the puck several times. He drew a penalty, that's about it.

Koivu probably was the worst player on the line though, I remember at least 3 bad plays with that final 3 on 1 as the crown jewel.

Maybe we should try Laine-Lehterä-x line, Lehterä is 10x better as a center than wing and he clearly has clever nuances Laine would drool over..

Would definitely like to try this, having a line to be our best offensive line where the average age is 19 is a bit risky

Sweden are too passive imo.

We have the team to win this game but now players seems to concentrate on not making mistakes.

If this continues I think Finland will score because they want/need this game more.

Step up and try to score and the goals will come ...

How about connecting a damn pass, not icing the puck every second minute, not leaving Finns all alone in front of the net, not allowing oddman rushes and actually create some pressure in the Finnish zone for more than 10 seconds?
