Price is the only goalie for Canada who hasn't won a cup, guess he shouldn't be playing either?
Holtby has never won either...

Huh? I didn't bring up stats, I'm talking about what's occurring on the ice. Save yourself the embarrassment if you aren't going to pay any attention to what's occurring in this game.
How is Bishop better than the reigning Vezina winner again
This is the team without Keith, Benn and Seguin. Just too much talent in this generation of players, it's not really close. Apart from Kane, who else from USA would be a lock to make team Canada?
Stop *****ing about Quick. Yeah, he should have had the 2nd goal, but other than that, he's been fine. Don't give up 2 on 0's or breakaways.

For those saying Quick is trash on the international stage, he is the only reason the game against Canada was close at Sochi and TJ Oshie doesn't get a chance to be an American Hero if Quick doesn't stop something like 12 shootout attempts.
He just got beat by a highly skilled player on a great move. So if Schneider gets beat there, it's a good move but Quick gets beat and he sucks because it doesn't fit your agenda?
Schneider hasn't earned the benefit of the doubt so he needed to perform in the pre-tourney games. Quick has earned the benefit of the doubt with Team USA but also performed in the pre-tourney games.
It's a pretty easy decision, actually. The deck was stacked against Team USA to begin with so it isn't a shocker if they lose this game. The guy with the more impressive big game resume who isn't close to being dead yet--no matter what the armchair jockeys in here want to believe--won the job, simple as that.
Easy to snipe in hindsight. I started all of my Saints and Giants in fantasy football last week because it was the smart decision. Wound up being wrong but doesn't mean it wasn't the logical move going into Sunday's games.
Took Getzlaf way too long to bic his hair
Agree. Quick is not the reason why the US is getting outplayed
Well, as I don't like Burke (and I mean hockey-hate in the most passionate sense of the word), building (or supervising) a team to be all grity and "beat Canada" is dumb Babcock said it best - "what if you don't MEET Canada" (i mean to be fair, in most tournaments Canada/USA are either in the same pool, or ultimately end up, but the point is valid - why build your team to beat 1 team. build your team to beat ANY team. you don't know whom you are going to face).
I'm trying to think who the best choice for the US would be coach wise. I am thinking Jon Cooper (because he's a dual if not American - but he's with team NAT). I don't see USA Brass hiring the new DET coach.. and I regret I don't know the nationalities of all 30 coaches) - but i mean. Paul Maurice is part of team Europe's coaching staff, so who knows whose allowed to coach, right?)
they were saying on the radio - you have Marchand + Getzlaf playing the role of Dubinsky.
who in the USA can beat that - so you have Dubinsky playing the role of Dubinsky. you can name several people to go ahead of Dubs, but if you want that skill-rugged edge who is better (legit question, i dunno). I wouldn't have named him to the team either.
you guys had some injuries (Kessel) and dumb mandates. so maybe by bowing out early, Burke/Lombardi can go away and then you can use Poile(was it Poile?) who built team USA for sochi who until you hit Canada was pretty darned good.
Schneider, Suter, Pavelski would safely be on Canada imo. Then you have guys like Wheeler and Parise who would always be in the discussion.
