The game starts at 03:00 in the morning in Finland. The whole nation will be half asleep at work tomorrow.

It's a ridiculous starting time for sure. They should at least have started the game half an hour ago.

I really wanted to at least watch part of the game, but 1 hour and 30 minutes until puck drop? Ridiculous, I have to get up at 07:00 in the morning tomorrow. So I can't watch it. The NHL only care about the NA viewers and fans.

The same thing happened when the games were in Sochi, time zones create issues no matter where it is. Us Canadians got up/stayed up no matter the time.

I think they made a scheduling effort to show European teams earlier. Had Suomi played Russia instead of Team NA, they would have been the earlier game.

Also he's a leftie. Murray-Jones and Reilly-Ekblad are pretty much set in stone. Ghost, as a leftie, fits in better with Parayko/Trouba than Trouba and Parayko would fit with each other. Regardless, being scratched doesn't help Trouba's RFA negotiations at all.

This thread along with any other that has Matthews or Laine related disscussion will become instantly unbearable as the game goes on. Every little mistake will be made out to be the final verdict on how good each player will become. I'm hoping most people can ignore any ridicoulous "Laine>>> or Matthews>>>" posts after a player has a impressive shift. This will be a much more enjoyable game and tournament if people focus on all the players playing and support the team they want to win rather than just coming in here to bash Laine or Matthews and pump up there own guy.

Ya , I don't get it. Of course I hope Matthews is the best player ever but I want to see exciting hockey. Exciting plays. That means hoping both players do well.

I'm hoping for a 3-2 win for team NA with both Matthews and Laine scoring highlight reel goals so then we can watch people argue over whose goal was more highlight reel worthy lol.
