Yeah the Quick sucking from Melrose is laughable at this point. I also heard the same thing earlier this week from Cohn. As much as I like Cohn, no Quick is not the best goalie in hockey. It's probably Price, considering how much Montreal desperately needed him last year.

Speaking as a pro-nation-state anti-EU sort of person, nothing wrong with the concept of Team Europe, but any perceived relation to the European Union as the political entity or Ode to Joy or any of that should be none nada zilch. There's no National Association of Hockey of EU or anything running a national team; as far as international hockey is concerned, the EU is an absolute non-entity.

Well yeah, I'm not saying the concept isn't 'entertaining', it is somewhat, but still, I think hockey players should have the right to perform for their own country.
