GDT: 9/17 - USA vs. Team Europe - 3:30 ET

My lord man, Team Europe's probably gonna end up winning the tournament :), no one wants to try against them.

As a Swedish-American it makes me sad, but there are few player I'd rather score on me than Bellemare. Great respect from his Skelleftea days. That and I dream of a world were hockey is relevant in Germany and France, wouldn't that be swell?
 
The fact that Team Europe nearly dominates some parts of this game and the fact that USA has a tough time creating chances just goes to show that the NHL writers & co. give European Teams and foreign players in general far less credit than that they deserve. Judging by the polls that have been created prior to the tournament it looks like Team Europe has been basically written off. In my opinion Team US & all teams in general heavily underestimate Team Europe. I mean look at their team, they've got a pretty impressive depth on all the positions and yet they come 2nd last in the pre tournament "poll" rankings.

There is still one period to go! Lets hope for some more attractive hockey! Damn, Kopitar looks great!
