Kreider has always been a favorite for me but this game today really doesn't look like he cares.

I kinda feel bad for Skjei. I feel like he could have been a decent D-Man, but he spent years developing under AV and now Quinn. Had he come up under Torts or someone like Trotz, he might actually be a decent player.

Unfortunately Skjei is braindead, Kreider thinks he’s worth 7m as a 25 goal scorer, Zib is injured, and the rest of the guys are either learning or suck(Staal). That’s not Quinn’s fault.

I'm not blaming coaches. I'm saying that had he actually learned and developed under a defensive minded coach, he might be decent. He's had two coaches who know shit about defense. That takes its toll whether you like it or not.

Every single D-man we had that played first under Torts, then AV, significantly regressed, almost immediately.
