Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. So many dumb moves this off-season that are going to haunt them moving forward. ADA, Panarin, Kreider. This team was quite clearly never going to be good this year and I have no idea what the brass was thinking.
Also, I know Kravtsov didn't conduct himself in the best manner, but I'm just terrified with what's going on with that whole situation. I have no faith in Hartford. They have sucked for eons and its highly unlikely that hot mess was fixed in the off-season.

So....if Toronto lets go of Mike Babcock, we all agree that he would be a good hire, right?
Yup. But something tells me that Quinn has a long leash because this is a "rebuilding" team despite signing a franchise forward for $11.6M, acquiring a defense man now being paid $8M, and drafting second overall.
No doubt in my mind Kakko does better with a real coach too.

On the bright side we might set some kind of record for the most periods in a season where we get outshot 5 to 1.

Or the Habs. Habs were great to watch last year. But what worries me the most about this roster is the team speed.

For a college coach that preaches fundamentals, the team does a pretty piss poor job of it. It's the job of the coach to deploy the game plan and get the team ready to play. Quinn hasn't done that, so yes, that is on him.
True. Quinn is the coach though and not on the ice, but he should be the ultimate leader and settle the team down. Make adjustments, etc

I kinda feel bad for Skjei. I feel like he could have been a decent D-Man, but he spent years developing under AV and now Quinn. Had he come up under Torts or someone like Trotz, he might actually be a decent player.

Well the coach is to blame for fundamental mistakes. It's either coaching or accountability. Either way it's on him to stop the behavior.
