I have no idea what happens behind the scenes, but it makes me think that Briere was the higher up that told Tortorella to have him play more minutes and with the skilled players on the team.Frost has 40 points in his last 44 games, only 4 of which are on a dysfunctional PP, where he has the ability to shine. His play-driving has shot up accordingly.
Briere’s promotion has changed the narrative around him a bit, but I don’t think it’s possible for a team to be less complimentary and excited about a run like that from a young player.
8-8 also is acceptable.
I don’t know if it was Briere, but Bill Meltzer alluded to that mgmt basically told Torts he needs to play him in better offensive roles.I have no idea what happens behind the scenes, but it makes me think that Briere was the higher up that told Tortorella to have him play more minutes and with the skilled players on the team.
When was this?I don’t know if it was Briere, but Bill Meltzer alluded to that mgmt basically told Torts he needs to play him in better offensive roles.
@Curufinwe posted a quote from his hockeybuzz forum. It wasn’t on twitter. I will look for itWhen was this?
After Torts stuck him with Nic and Zac for 10 games, Meltzer said “hockey ops” intervened. When was this?
I can’t find the exact post but basically some d-bag from the Buzz was saying Frost never played with Deslauriers and MacEwen. So Meltzer posted a bunch of games where they did play together. In that post he also said they stopped playing him because, as Curu just said, hockey ops stepped in.When was this?
The refs want to get this game over with just like the players do.No call on the JVR tackle?
Too busy pushing tipperoo and Seeler to mention Frost.Frost has 40 points in his last 44 games, only 4 of which are on a dysfunctional PP, where he has the ability to shine. His play-driving has shot up accordingly.
