That’s pathetic. He has 2 points this season. Who cares?

This organization excels at time wasting.

No, no, we absolutely want this. Nothing will increase the odds of Chicago winning, and therefore weakening the odds of them getting Bedard, than us spending as much of the game as possible trying to feed the puck to the reanimated corpse of Justin Braun.

I don’t know if you’ve kept tabs on the Flyers PP, but this probably increases the chance they score.

What a quote.

The Hawks are on the precipice of getting a franchise altering megastar in a draft they should have been banned from participating in because the organization was caught not doing the right thing.

We can only hope that the Beach revelations "come back and bite" them, but they've basically been swept under the rug already.

"Someone has to say it, the NHL is rooting for Chicago to get (Bedard)," Steve Levy on ESPN within the past 72 hours.

Darryl Williams was coaching in the ECHL before joining his friend Vigneault. He’s still here for reasons. He’s coaching this game for reasons. Everything about the front office and pro coaching staff is lazy.

Little surprised about the reactions - Honestly, I don't see a big deal about doing this in a meaningless game at the end of the season.

I don’t think anyone dislikes Braun. There’s a way where putting him on the PP in the 3rd period or something makes sense as a fun thing. I don’t even care that much truthfully.

But you have to scoff at the mixed messaging where this team emphasizes this “we do what’s right for the TEAM” approach, only to be Good Guys when they feel like it. Why has Braun been playing every game down the stretch — including using 7D — over prospects? How is that benefitting the team long term? Is this really the entirety of their reasoning? It just rings hollow is all.

I especially love the irony of the organization not giving a flying f*** about franchise player Giroux’s 1000th point but dear lord we must must must get Brauny to 200!

Couldn’t care less that they’re trying to get Braun 200 points. It’s his last game, let people live.

You haven't realized how much some posters hate Torts and try to find ways to criticize everything he does?

They complain about how Torts treats people. Then, in a meaningless 82nd game for the Flyers, Torts tries to get a veteran with 199 career points his 200th point in the last game of his NHL career in front of 15 family members, and they complain about that, too.
