MSL banged up or something? Kind of annoying that a deadline acquisition can come in, struggle, and get the night off while other guys who battled all season have to dress.
 
AV resting the oldest players :laugh:

Zucc has plans for tonight, he wants to hit 20 goals and 60 points. Just don't get hurt...
 
We going to a place where they've had our number for years and he's not playing? Hmm...

Then again if he got injured tonight I'd lose my mind.

Hopefully AV is making decisions based on what will help the team most rather than some obscure standard of fairness.
 
Going to a party so I will miss this one but might catch some of it there (if its on)

A win would be cool
 
Depending on how St. Louis performs in the playoffs, I would consider giving him regular oldness days off throughout next season.

Its not the worst thing in the world, only 1 game but a player like MSL who was rubbish for weeks and has looked better over the last couple games I would like to see build on it.

If McD is 100% like its reported, why not play him so hes not rusty after missing 2 weeks?

It's a meaningless game. If he got hurt again, there would be a bounty on AV's head for playing him.

Because the last thing we need is for our top defenseman to get hurt in a meaningless game. This game means something to Montreal. They will be playing to win. There's no good reason to risk it.

I wonder how heavy AV will rest on the bottom 6 and bottom 4 of the defense.

We haven't had very many truly meaningless games in a long time, so it should be interesting.

No girardi or msl. Guess I'm starting varlamov tomor in my fantasy pool. Talbot a bit short handed
 
Wishing for Zucc to hit those numbers is vanity IMO, nor does it help The Rangers or his game for the future. These are details, and of course a bit cynical. I just think Zucc is one of the most underrated players right now and him hitting 20 for 60, wont contribute to him "flying low". It also affects contract negotiations.
 
soft goal by emery. i hope the flyers dont win in reg or OT today. i want them facing an important game in the 82nd game. i want the rangers facing as beat up team as possible in the playoffs.
